Whether you are new to Collinsville Public Schools (CPS) because your child has just reached school age or because you are new to our area, we are pleased to have the opportunity to serve you. If your student has been with us for a while – thanks for taking a look!
Research has shown that children are more likely to succeed when educators, families, and the community work together.  Here at CPS we want our families to feel welcome and valued.

Parental involvement is an important and essential part of education.  Parental participation has by tradition focused on fundraising and support at recreational events.  It is important to support your child and their school through these activities, but parental involvement that supports what children are involved in at school is connected to higher student achievement.  Volunteer as a band booster, become a PTA / PTO member, develop communication with your child’s teacher, support and monitor your child’s homework, or simply sit and read with your younger children.

Our world is moving fast and Collinsville Public Schools wants to offer some assistance!  This area of our web site was developed with you in mind.  We hope to answer some of the day to day questions that you may have, direct you to the proper department for services, and to offer help for other challenges that may arise.  Our Parents Links section will have links to great web-sites with additional valuable information.

If you have questions or need information that is not addressed here, please contact us or your child’s school.  We are here for you.
